After a management change in 2010, the airline is now expanding its services as a scheduled airline. This in view of Indonesia being one of the largest growth areas for scheduled flights in the region.

In 2010 Sky Aviation acquired a Cessna Grand Caravan to service scheduled flights between Surabaya, Banyuwangi and Denpasar. These routes were officially launched in Banyuwangi on December 29th 2010.

In first quarter 2011 Sky acquired regional turbo props as new type of fleet. Best regional turbo props based on their study is Fokker 50. Three Fokker 50 aircraft were added. Like the Cessna Grand Caravan, their Fokker fleet are now servicing in scheduled route in Indonesia.

In mid of 2012, an additional of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 are scheduled to arrive and will serve Sky Aviation regular route. This order makes Sky Aviation the second airline in Indonesia to buy Sukhoi Superjet 100 after Kartika Airlines. In 2013, 10 Skylander SK-105 will join and serve the Sky Aviation regional fleet as well.

Sky Aviation has picked Melaka as its first international destination. The service from Pekanbaru, Indonesia, was launched at the Melaka International Airport in Batu Berendam on 6 Dec 2011 by Melaka Transport, Information, Unity and Consumer Committee Chairman Datuk Ghazale Mohamad on behalf of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and Sky Aviation Chief Executive Officer Krisman Taringan. Based on studies, Melaka also drew Pekanbaru residents for health travel and education.
